History of CCIIR

CCIIR was formed in 1974 by a small group of visionary Columbus area commercial Realtors®. These visionaries recognized a need to create an organized forum whereby those real estate practitioners who devoted all of their professional time to Commercial, Industrial and Investment real estate would have easy access to quality information regarding real estate properties for sale, lease, or sublease.

Recognizing the specialized and complex nature of real estate, its visionaries committed CCIIR to promoting education and professionalism among its members. Through years of increasing complexity within the real estate market, CCIIR has maintained its focus on Communication, Education and Professionalism, while adapting to market needs and demands.

The organization today counts as its members over 250 of the top commercial practitioners in the Central Ohio area and is comprised of those Realtors® who are totally dedicated to the commercial and investment field.

Through the use of the COCIE (Central Ohio Commercial Information Exchange), as well as the monthly meetings and the CCIIR Listserv, the members of CCIIR continue to offer to their customers and clients state-of-the-art service and customer satisfaction.
